Faculty-Led Programs

Creating your own faculty-led programs is a great way to familiarize yourself with the world. You can select a destination that you are comfortable with, for a time commitment that suits your schedule. The insight you get for specific subject matter is significant, and the opportunity to bond with students is substantial.

You can use the tools on this page to begin developing your own faculty-led course. You should also consider attending the introductory session on planning a faculty-led program held each semester in conjunction with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). The presentation given at that session, including proposal instructions, is included here for your information. The next session on creating your own program will be held in the fall of 2011, with details to come. No reservation is necessary.

If you have any questions, or feel you are ready to begin the development of your program, please contact Angie Markley Peterson at apeterson@park.edu or (816) 584-6510 for additional support and guidance.
