Internationalization of Curriculum

• International and Multicultural Education Committee
  A Faculty Senate committee encouraging international and multicultural education across the campuses.
• Faculty Senate Committee on Internationalizing the Curriculum
  A division of the Faculty Senate charged with helping faculty members internationalize their courses.

Faculty Exchange

• Opportunities to teach overseas
  Learn about international universities linked to Park University where you can teach for a term.
• Fulbright U.S. Scholar program
  Information on applying for short- and long-term Fulbright opportunities overseas.

Community Outreach

• Coming to America
  Come hear from international students about their home countries and cultures over lunch.
• Cultural Sharing
  An annual program celebrating the culture and people of one country.
• Global Connection
  A year-long program helping Kansas City-area college students learn about international business and careers.

Study Abroad

• Exploratory Trip to Develop Faculty-Led Program
  Funds for a faculty-member to travel abroad in the summer of 2013 to develop a new faculty-led study abroad program. Funds for this program were made available through Park's Promise.
• Faculty Advisory Board
  A board assisting the OGESA with study abroad-related issues.
• Faculty-led programs
  Learn about proposing and running your own study abroad program.
• Risk Management
  Learn about how to handle health, safety and crisis issues in international education.
• Staff Who Want to Participate in Study Abroad
  Learn about possibilities for you to join a Park University program abroad.
• Transferring courses students take abroad
  Find forms and instructions to help your advisees transfer courses.

Program Development

• CETL Faculty-led program
  Find the latest information on the biannual introductory program to developing your own study abroad program.
• Danish Institute for Study Abroad International Educators Workshop opportunity
  An annual opportunity for faculty and staff to visit the DIS study abroad program in Copenhagen, Denmark.
• Faculty or Staff study abroad opportunity
  One faculty or staff member will study abroad on a Park sponsored program in Caen, France or Salamanca, Spain, in the summer of 2013. Funds for this program were made available through Park's Promise.
• University of Guanajuato summer intensive Spanish opportunity
  An opportunity for faculty and staff to learn Spanish in Guanajuato, Mexico.
