Work-Study Student: Amy Crumblissstudyabroad@park.edu
Around campus, Amy is involved with organizations such as Campus Crusade for Christ, Global Future, and People to People International for which she serves as the secretary and treasurer. Her time in the Study Abroad Office is spent helping students find and apply for international study opportunities, and assisting in travel arrangements, such as planning this year's trip to Washington D.C. She also helps coordinate the Global Future and International Speakers Club programs. Amy hopes her role in the office will help encourage fellow students to pursue travelling abroad, and help them make it a reality. "Studying abroad changes your view of the world," she says, "and your place in it. It opens your eyes to a huge, big world full of amazing people and places that are worth getting to know." --------------------------------- University Resources |

Small town girl Amy Crumbliss from Neosho, Missouri has been part of the International Education and Study Abroad office since August 2007. She is a Spanish Major minoring in Global Studies, and she is all Latin at heart. Amy fell in love with the Spanish language in high school, during the first of what would turn out to be six years of studying the language. Since then, she has travelled to Spain, Mexico, and El Salvador on mission and study abroad trips. She hopes to make Central or South America her home after she graduates. For now, Amy quenches her thirst for the Latin lifestyle on the dance floor. Her favorite dances are salsa, merengue, and bachata.
