ACE (American Council for Education) InformationThe American Council on Education (ACE) recognizes that for colleges and universities to be truly excellent in today's global society, they must have an international outlook in teaching, research, and service. The goals of ACE's international initiatives are to: 1) Serve as a resource on internationalization and global issues for member institutions and other stakeholders, 2) Help U.S. institutions enhance their international activities, dimensions, and outlook, 3) Advocate for international education to policy makers and the public, 4) Maintain active linkages with associations and organizations around the world and promote international collaboration through meetings and projects with partner organizations. The International Task Force is working in conjunction with the American Council on Education (ACE) towards internationalizing the Park University campus. On September 21-22, 2005, Park University had a two-day site visit to the Parkville and Kansas City campuses by an American Council on Education (ACE) peer review team. The team prepared a Final ACE Report to highlight the strengths, challenges, and recommended leadership strategy for internationalizing the university. Additionally, the Internationalization Taskforce completed a self-review and documented internationalization at Park in the Institutional Internationalization Review.
