Aug. 1, 2014 — The online Master of Healthcare Administration Program at Park University received a top ranking from BestColleges.com, an online resource designed to assist prospective students in their search for higher education institutions. Park was the only university in Missouri to earn this distinction.
The rankings were compiled based on acceptance, retention, graduation and enrollment rates for each university. Park scored high in admission and retention, indicating student satisfaction and success.
“To be ranked among the top 21 best online Master of Healthcare Administration programs in the country is a wonderful testament to the excellence of Park’s MHA students, staff, and both full-time and adjunct faculty,” said Suzanne Discenza, Ph.D., program director for the Master of Healthcare Administration program at Park University.
“This distinction not only serves as a small reward to our faculty for the academic knowledge and practical skill sets they share daily with our students online and in the classroom, but also provides our students with the knowledge that they are receiving a high quality education in return for their hard work and hard-earned tuition dollars. Although not surprised, I am extremely appreciative of this honor,” said Discenza.
This is not the first distinction Park has received from BestColleges.com this year. In April, Park earned a spot on its “50 Colleges with the Lowest Out-Of-State Tuition” list. Park was the only college/university based in the Kansas City region to earn a spot on the list, and was one of just eight private schools nationwide to make the list.
