Park University has signed a 2 + 2 partnership agreement with Kansas City Kansas Community College that will increase higher education opportunities for KCKCC students and students across the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The program ensures easy transition for transfer students furthering their education as an associate degree from KCKCC will satisfy requirements for the first two years of a bachelor’s degree from Park.
“Park University has proudly served students throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area for the past 140 years,” said Interim President Jeff Ehrlich, Ed.D. “We are pleased to expand Park’s valuable, accessible and quality education experience to KCKCC students and the community by aligning both institutions’ core values and providing convenience throughout the entire educational journey of the student.”
Park University will offer five $2,000 scholarships each fiscal year, on a competitive basis, to participants in the 2 + 2 program. In addition, each recipient who remains in good academic standing will receive $1,000 at the beginning of his/her third and fourth year in the program.
