Park University International Center for Music to Present an Evening of Chamber Music

The Park University International Center for Music’s 2015-16 concert series season continues on Saturday, Feb. 27, with “An Evening of Chamber Music” recital featuring performances by the ICM’s award-winning faculty. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel on the University’s Parkville Campus.

Lolita Lisovskaya-SayevichDaniel VeisBen SayevichBen Sayevich, professor of music/violin (left), Daniel Veis, assistant professor of music/cello (center) and Lolita Lisovskaya-Sayevich (right), ICM collaborative pianist — will be the featured musicians during the recital, which will include the following selections:
          •  “Sonata for Violin and Cello” by Maurice Ravel
          •  “Piano Quartet in E Flat” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Anna Sorokina, graduate student pursuing degree in violin performance, will accompany)
          •  “Duo for Violin and Cello, Op. 7” by Zoltán Kodály

Individual tickets for the general public are $10 and can be purchased at the door or at www.park.edu/concert. Park University students, faculty and staff with Park ID are admitted free.

The next concert on the ICM’s 2015-16 season schedule is billed as “An Evening of Russian Music” on Saturday, April 2, starting at 7:30 p.m. in Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel. The concert will feature cellist Arkady Kuchinsky and ICM faculty.
