As director of career development, Fletcher oversees the University’s Career Development Center
which provides career services to Park alumni and its students at the University’s 40 campuses across the country
. She is responsible for developing initiatives to enhance the quality and quantity of companies, agencies and organizations that recruit and employ the University’s alumni and students.
“Leah is the right person to lead the Career Development Center
in a proactive, strategic direction,” said Erik Bergrud, associate vice president for alumni, constituent and employer relations. “Her enthusiasm and passion for helping Park students will set the right tone for the next phase in the Center’s evolution.”
Prior to joining Park University, Fletcher served as a wellness educator at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s University Health Center for one year (2012-13) and as assistant to the executive director for Habitat for Humanity in Glenwood Springs, Colo., for one year (2011-12).
Fletcher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master of Education degree in higher education administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Fletcher currently serves as president of the Consortium of Small Metropolitan Missouri Colleges.
