Park University’s Zeta Omicron chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society will host a pair of runs and a fun walk to help support prostate cancer research.
The Blue Ribbon 10K/5K runs and a 2.5K walk will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, in English Landing Park in Parkville. The 10K run begins at 7 a.m., followed by the 5K run at 7:15 a.m. and the 2.5K walk at 7:30 p.m.
Runners and walkers can preregister for the event at www.park.edu/blueribbonrun. Registration for the 10K run is $25; the 5K run is $20 and the 2.5K walk is $15. Registration prices the day of the event are $5 additional. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in the runs. Proceeds from the event will benefit the local prostate network in association with ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer.
