The National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) has launched a national voter education campaign to provide eligible voters from all 50 states with the information they need to cast their ballots in 2008 – all on one web site. The campaign’s centerpiece, www.canivote.org, is a one-stop shop that provides voters with step-by-step instructions for voting no matter where in the United States they live.

2008 Democracy Day High School Essay Contest
For the fifth consecutive year, Park University is sponsoring an essay contest for high school seniors throughout the United States. The grand prize winner of the contest will receive a $2,000 Park University scholarship or a $1,000 scholarship to the college or university of their choice. Five first place winners will receive $250 each.  For the first time ever, the University will offer a similar contest for Park undergraduates. The grand prize winner of this contest will receive a $2,000 Park University scholarship.
