Transfer from Metropolitan Community College -
2010-2011
Students transferring to Park University from any one of the Metropolitan
Community College District colleges with an Associate degree (excluding AAS)
can expect junior standing and acceptance of a minimum 60 credits. No more than
75 credits will be accepted from all two-year college sources. To assure
completion of Park's university-wide graduation requirements, the following
coursework should be included in the Associate Degree.

For students transferring to Park with an Associates of
Arts of Science degree, the liberal education required
curriculum will be complete provided the student has
successfully completed the following with a "C" or better:

6 cr. in the Division of Humanities

3 cr. in the Division of Natural Sciences

6 cr. in the Division of Social Sciences
Courses within the Associates degree carrying a "D" grade will be accepted as
electives only and will not be accepted as satisfying any Park University
requirement including the coursework needed to fulfill the
liberal education
component. For students transferring to Park without an Associates degree or
with an Associate of Applied Science, the liberal education required curriculum
can be met as follows provided each course carries a "C" or better.
