Park Hill High School District Endowment Scholarship

This Scholarship is designed to support the conscientious student who has demonstrated academic ability and perseverance while completing high school course work. This scholarship recognizes and encourages Park Hill School District seniors who wish to pursue their education with Park University.

Two graduating Park Hill School District senior students will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship ($500 each semester) to attend Park University. Interested students must have completed application for admission to Park University prior to application for scholarship.

All application materials must be submitted to Park Hill Education Foundation postmarked on or before March 30 to be considered for this scholarship.

Students must complete all the following items to be considered for this scholarship:

• Student must have completed application to Park University and been accepted for enrollment
• Student must have 90% cumulative school attendance record from freshman year through first semester of senior year of high school as documented by their school registrar
• Student must prepare and submit a 250 word or less double-spaced, typed essay on a topic provided in the application.
• Student must submit written recommendations from two of the following:
  • High School teacher or counselor
  • Youth leader or club sponsor
  • Your church minister or pastor
  • Employer

Letters of recommendation should include information about scholarship applicant’s volunteer community services, proven leadership ability, and proven employment performance where applicable. All recommendations must be submitted with the scholarship application packet in sealed envelopes.
