James J. Lennon Memorial Scholarship

Cathy Lennon established this scholarship in memory of her husband, James Lennon to assist undergraduate Economic, or Business Administration program majors in earning their higher education degree.

James Lennon graduated from Park College in 1967. He had a tremendous love for Park. He was able to complete his degree because of Park's multiple campus sites that allowed him to continue his studies during his military career. Because of the way he earned his degree in the military, a focus will be placed on scholarship recipients who are now or have been in the military, or have military related family members.

This scholarship is a gift from Cathy Lennon who wanted to honor her husband in a significant way. She believes James would have been pleased to know that a scholarship in his memory will help future generations of military-related students at Park University.
