Bio: Hello Class of 2017 and transfer students! Deciding to go to Park University was definitely one of the best choices  I have ever made. I love the diversity and opportunities I am presented. But most of all, I love the family aspect of the college. I am recognized, and I can really get to know my teachers and faculty. I am apart of the Honors Society of Leadership and Success, the Art club, PSAB, and I work at the Academic Support Center in Norrington! I love to visit the Nelson Atkins Art Museum, explore new places in KC, and hang out with close friends. Or laying in my bed watching youtube videos for hours upon hours. But I am super excited to meet you all and welcome to the Park Pirate Family!

Just a little bit about me: I’m a senior English major at Park. I help out at Park by running a Snapchat account for the university – you can add me at @beaparkpirate and check out my posts during the school year! I’ve studied abroad in England and Greece, and I’m currently studying abroad in France, where I’m living for most of summer 2017. Between classes, I’m a server at Stone Canyon Pizza in downtown Parkville. When I’m not writing papers or waiting tables, you can usually find me hanging out around the Parkville campus or just exploring Kansas City. Bio: What's up everyone!! My name is Gunner King Bäckues-Eberspächer, I'm 22 and a sophomore here at ParkU. My degree is in Marketing. After Park, I plan on going to NYC where I got accepted to a fashion school. Clothes are my passion, what I wear is a direct result of how I feel at any certain time. I'm Glad you chose Park as your home, it was the best thing that has happened to me in awhile. There are a tone of things to do here, you must only apply yourself. In my first year alone, I was the Treasure and VP of Spectrum club (LGBT group on campus), I was a senator and later elected Secratary for the PSGA (Park Student Government Association), I was selected to be apart of the NSLS (National Society of Leadership and Success), and I also became a FYE Mentor (First Year Experiance Mentor). There are a loads more to be apart of here at Park. So, out side of school I'm an assistant manager and sushi chef at 2 restaurants. I've work there for a little Iover a year and a half. It's one of the coolest jobs ever, plus how many people do you know who gets to brag about being a sushi chef... probably not very many. Outside of my job and my school, my real interest is fashion. But anyways, I can't wait to meet all of you!! I hope you are excited to apart of our small, but very outgoing, Park University family.

Major: Organizational Communication

Class: Senior

Bio: Hello crew! My name is Baili Beachner and I am a senior here at Park University! I am majoring in Organizational Communication and minoring in Leadership. I decided to be a Park Pirate because the moment I stepped on campus, it felt like home; this was the place I needed to be. Since that day, I have become a Student Ambassador, Conference Assistant, First-Year Experience Mentor, President of Theatre Club, and I currently work in the bookstore on campus! Having all of these jobs may sound stressful but they all go hand-in-hand as they all allow me to meet new students on campus, get them acquainted with Park, and then help them through their first semester. As for things I like to do for fun: I enjoy singing and shooting my bow when I get the chance to. I've also been known to write down a poem or two. I have traveled to Canada, England, France, and Switzerland and am studying abroad for my first time in Germany and Poland this fall!! And speaking of fall semester: I can't wait for you all to be a part of the Park family! Yo-ho Yo-ho!
