The Park University Orientation is for All New Students and Transfer Students beginning their experience at the Parkville Campus. Orientation is a two day program aimed at helping students obtain the skills necessary to successfully graduate and navigate their time at Park.
Who are the Goonies?
Goonies are Orientation leaders. They are returning students who have demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of involvement in the Park University Community. They complete training both in the spring and prior to the start of Orientation in August. Your leaders will be contacting you starting in late July and then throughout the semester.
Is Orientation mandatory?
Yes. We require all new, incoming students to participate in Orientation because we firmly believe that orientation is an essential part of a student's acclimation to the Park Tradition. Please register here.

No. New student orientation is designed for new students only.
What does a typical day during Orientation look like?
Jam Packed. During Orientation, it is important to realize that first-year students will spend a considerable portion of time in their LE 100 groups.
How does Orientation meet the needs of transfer and non-traditional students?
The needs of transfer and non-traditional first-year students are often different than those of traditional first-year students. To meet those needs we have designed a special orientation experience for transfer and non-traditional students. This Orientation will begin at 2:30PM in the Alumni Theater. No matter your age or the number of credits you are transferring, the Orientation session will be a valuable resource to guide you in your transition.
