Office of University Marketing and Communications

Social Media

Once reserved for early adopters, social media has become a nearly inseparable part of today's communication landscape. As a tool, it facilitates direct communication with audiences and opens up new avenues for feedback. More than a tool, it is also a way to join, build and maintain lasting communities. MarCom can help you with both.

In addition to overseeing the University's institutional presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Flickr and Google+, MarCom helps manage, launch and develop new social media projects at the departmental and organizational level. We can help develop strategic plans and content calendars for new or existing channels, offer assistance in determining the best channel to meet your needs and help you maximize the use of social media through training and consultation.
