In addition to providing legal services, the Office of General Counsel works with other University offices to provide training sessions and seminars on a broad range of subjects, and assists in drafting and implementing a variety of University policies and procedures. The OGC provides legal services only after a request has been approved by the University’s president or a vice president. Those who wish to obtain services from the OGC should submit a request for legal services  to the appropriate University vice president. A request may be submitted electronically via the OGC website, although that request will be forwarded to a vice president for action before the OGC renders the requested service.
