At the Parkville Campus

Resources include computer labs, a reference library, a lounge and other amenities to serve the needs of service members, veterans, wounded warriors, family members, dependents and spouses. With nearly 650 acres of natural beauty and historic buildings, the campus offers a full range of academic programs plus opportunities for leadership and a wide variety of athletics, social clubs, honor societies and leadership organizations.

Reserve Officers’ Training Corp

ROTC is one of the nation’s top leadership programs, with a wide range of benefits. It prepares you with the tools, training and experiences that will help you succeed in any competitive environment. The Basic Course studies history, organization and structure. The Advanced Course concentrates on tactical operations and military instruction, as well as advanced techniques of management, leadership and command.

WWI Valor Medals Review

George S. Robb, a 1912 graduate of Park College, served in World War I as an officer with the 369th Infantry Regiment, better known as the “Harlem Hellfighters.” Robb’s actions, in late September 1918, were acknowledged following the war as a recipient of the Medal of Honor. Park University history majors assist in conducting research related to the Valor Medals Review Project.

Awards & Recognition

military medal iconPark University was designated as a Military Friendly School for 2024-25, as announced by Viqtory on March 27. The University earned gold status in the “Private, Not Offering Doctorate” category. In addition, Park also earned a Military Spouse Friendly designation.

Park was a pioneer in higher education integration, welcoming African-American students to Park’s residence halls in the 1950s. Park has educated generations of students from diverse backgrounds, providing affordable access to private education.
