In his new position, Anderson will oversee the administrative and academic aspects of Park University’s Downtown Kansas City, Mo., and Independence, Mo., campuses
, as well as be responsible for Park’s presence at area community colleges and companies. He will also join in the efforts of identifying and engaging in community outreach.
Prior to joining Park in November 2013, Anderson held positions at the University of Texas at Arlington, serving as associate director of university development for 18 months and as residence director for one year. He also served a two-year stint as resident director at Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Mo.
Anderson has earned two master’s degrees — a Master of Business Administration degree in December 2015 from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, and a Master of Arts in educational administration in 2011 from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. He also received three Bachelor of Arts degrees in nonprofit leadership studies, Spanish and theology from Rockhurst in 2009.
