Park University’s School of Business Ranked No. 2 “Best for Vets” Private School in the Country

Best For Vets 2016 Business SchoolsPark University’s School of Business has been selected the No. 2 “Best for Vets” business school in the country among private colleges/universities, according to Military Times, an independent source for news and information for the military community, and its associated publications, Army Times, Navy Times, Air Force Times and Marine Corps Times.

Park ranked behind only Syracuse (N.Y.) University among private colleges/universities and was No. 12 overall (includes public and for-profit schools). In addition, as a part of the rankings, Park was one of only eight schools to receive four stars out of a possible four in regard to both staff support and academic support.

This is the second “Best for Vets” designation Park University has received in the past three months from Military Times. In November 2015, the University was selected as the No. 1 “Best for Vets” private college/university in the country, and No. 2 overall in the “online and nontraditional” category (schools that serve military students primarily online or through a network of small campuses).

“Best for Vets: Business Schools 2016” is intended to assist veterans find the graduate business degree programs that are fully equipped to provide them with the educational resources they need to succeed in a corporate business climate. Only institutions that offer graduate business degrees were considered for this review. The rankings focused on culture and curriculum that cater to military veterans, and the schools were evaluated in five categories: university culture, student support, academic outcomes and quality, academic policies, and cost and financial aid.

Brad Kleindl, Ph.D., dean of Park University’s School of Business, said, “The honor of being listed in the top 10 of the Military Times Best for Vets Business Schools is further indication of the quality of our programs and our devotion to serving veterans. This ranking places Park in the company of some of the most well-known business schools in the country. As a veteran myself, I know Park’s School of Business looks forward to continuing to serve our veteran student population.”
