Stand DownPark well-represented at Heart of America Stand Down


More than 50 Park University staff, faculty and students volunteered their time and talents at the Heart of America Stand Down on May 27 at the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Mo. The event brought together more than 70 community service groups and organizations from the Kansas City area to provide assistance and help rid the barriers that prevent homeless veterans from re-entering society as engaged, productive citizens and live more fulfilling lives. Assistance offered includes medical, substance abuse, legal issues, taxes, housing and utility assistance, family counseling, spiritual, mentorships, educational and employment opportunities, and haircuts. MPA Value CollegesUniversity’s MPA program ranked by Value Colleges


Park University’s Master of Public Affairs online program has been ranked No. 15 by Value Colleges on its list of the “Top 50 Best Value Online MPA Programs of 2016.” The 50 Best Values ranking gave special credit to those programs with Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration accreditation, with the final ranking calculated via a formula taking into account U.S. News & World Report rankings, College Scorecard salary data and cost per credit hour.


Computer Science Zone ranks Park’s computer science degree program


Park University’s degree programs within the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems have been ranked No. 12 on Computer Science Zone’s “20 Best Online Bachelor’s in Computer Science Degrees 2016-17” list. The ranking is based on a combination of affordability, prestige and the number of concentrations within the program.
