Park University’s Career Development Center will host its annual Fall Career and Internship Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Breckon Sports Center on the University’s Parkville Campus. The event is open to the public, especially recent college graduates and individuals looking for entry-level positions.
The fair will include more than 50 large and small companies, as well as nonprofit organizations and government agencies, representing a wide variety of industries, including media/advertising, health, finance, social services, real estate and criminal justice. Participants, who will meet with company representatives at the fair, should bring copies of their résumé and dress professionally.
“The Career and Internship Fair provides job seekers an opportunity to personally meet with area job recruiters and develop contacts at a company,” said Leah Fletcher, director of career development. “Job seekers will be able to distribute their résumés and receive information on available positions to enhance their job search process.”
Job seekers do not need to register, but are encouraged to RSVP to Fletcher at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive additional information, including a list of participating companies/organizations.
Applications are still being accepted for companies/organizations to participate. To register, visit http://advancing.park.edu/career/fall-2016-career-and-internship-fair, or contact Fletcher for more information.
