Program Highlights

Learn to lead

As a Communication and Leadership graduate student, you’ll become an exceptional communicator, a creative thinker and an influential leader in a global society. This degree combines the practical and theoretical knowledge you need to succeed in corporate and nonprofit settings, the military, government, politics or other arenas. You’ll also develop the research and writing skills necessary for doctoral work.

In this program, you’ll learn the history of leadership perspectives and explore the communication styles and values of different cultures. You’ll learn to resolve organizational issues and improve decision-making, as well as to develop a framework for ethical conduct in the organizations you serve.

As you approach graduation, you’ll complete a capstone course consisting of a thesis or a graduate project, as well as an oral defense of your work.

Flexible and accessible

You can complete this degree entirely online, face-to-face, or through a mix of the two. In-person classes offer you true immersion in a subject, often sparked by the group synergy in a seminar. You’ll benefit from the interaction with your fellow graduate students and professors.

Online courses offer around-the-clock, around-the-world access. For students in the military, working parents or busy professionals, our online classes offer an alternative to traditional university graduate programs. Your instructors provide individualized instruction and guidance for all coursework, both online and on campus.
