A graduate certificate in human resource management will equip you with the skills to perform quantitative analysis of human resources methodologies, manage the recruitment and hiring process, lead employee training and development initiatives, hone your ability to evaluate and implement compensation and benefits plans, and allow you to perform conflict resolution effectively.

Park University’s graduate-level human resource management certificate courses include:

  • Planning and Staffing
  • Training, Development, and Evaluation
  • Change Management and Conflict Resolution
  • Compensation Management

There’s no difference in the coursework—both use the same human resource management classes. If you’re enrolled in a master’s program like an MBA or MHA, the classes count toward a concentration; if not, you can earn them as a standalone certificate. You can also earn both a concentration and a separate certificate while pursuing your master’s. The key advantage of the certificate is its flexibility—it can be earned anytime, without being tied to a graduate program.
