Why Study Tactical Strength & Conditioning?

The strength and conditioning degree program prepares students to create and lead physical fitness testing and training for tactical and first responder roles, such as military, law enforcement, fire, and search and rescue. Students apply principles of nutrition, exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, physical therapy, and biomechanics to enhance training programs, improve human performance, prevent injuries, extend the careers of operators, and reduce healthcare costs. The Associate of Science in Tactical Strength and Conditioning (TSAC) expands upon the Tactical Strength & Conditioning Certificate by incorporating additional science, health and exercise, and liberal arts courses. Completing the program could be a first step towards completing more advanced study in Exercise Science to align with graduates future educational and career goals.

Admission Requirements

To begin your journey toward an associate degree at Park University, you’ll need a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the university’s general undergraduate admission standards. Associate programs require at least 60 credit hours, including general education and major-specific courses.
