Park University Announces 2021 Homecoming Royalty

Oct. 11, 2021 — As part of Park University’s recent Homecoming Weekend 2021 festivities, eight Park students were announced as homecoming royalty during halftime of the men’s soccer match against Mount Mercy University on Oct. 2, as voted on by the student body.

Bayan Salam and DiCarlo Jackson Jr.DiCarlo Jackson Jr. (right), senior biology major, Kansas City, Kan. (attended Sumner Academy of Arts and Science), and Bayan Salam (left), senior criminal justice administration/law enforcement and psychology major, Kansas City, Mo. (attended Oak Park High School), were selected as king and queen, respectively.

Kai Yim, junior nursing major, Smithville, Mo. (attended Smithville High School), and Demetria Byers, junior criminal justice administration/law enforcement major, Kansas City, Mo., were selected as prince and princess, respectively.

Andres Yost Castillo, sophomore business administration/marketing major, Antofagasta, Chile, and Isabela Ribeiro da Silva, sophomore business administration/corporate financial management major, São Jose dos Campos, Brazil, were selected as the male and female sophomore royalty, respectively.

Kaben Lentzner, freshman business administration/management major, Kaufman, Texas (attended Kaufman High School), and Destiny Marshall, freshman sports and exercise science/health promotion major, Kansas City, Mo. (attended Southeast High School), were selected as the male and female freshman royalty, respectively.
