Pirate Pantry Grand Opening

Park University will hold a grand opening for its Pirate Pantry, the University’s response to the increased awareness of food insecurity among students on college campuses, on Tuesday, Oct. 23, starting at 10 a.m. inside the Intramural and Recreational Fieldhouse (Labor Hall) adjacent to Breckon Sports Center on the University’s Parkville Campus.
Fort Leonard Wood Graduates 2018

Park University’s Fort Leonard Wood (Mo.) Campus held its commencement ceremony on Oct. 5 at Nutter Field House on base. The University had 20 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — 14 received a bachelor’s degree and six students received an associate degree.
Longevity Awards 2018

Park University honored staff and faculty who reached milestone service anniversaries between Aug. 1, 2017, and July 31, 2018, during a ceremony on Sept. 26 on the Parkville Campus. Sixty-five employees were recognized, combining for 695 years of service to Park.
Homecoming Royalty 2018

As part of Park University’s recent Homecoming Weekend 2018 festivities, six Park students were announced as royalty during halftime of the men’s soccer match against Lindenwood University-Belleville on Sept. 15.
Plaster Center Gifts

Park University announces that a trio of Kansas City area family foundations have made recent gifts totaling $1.8 million toward a new building to house the University’s School of Business.
Camp Pendleton Graduates 2018

Park University’s Camp Pendleton (Calif.) Marine Corps Base Campus held its commencement ceremony on Sept. 7 at the Pacific Views Event Center on base. The University had 128 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — five students received a master’s degree, 118 students received a bachelor’s degree, one student received a bachelor’s degree and an undergraduate certificate, and four students received an associate degree.
Homecoming Weekend 2018

Park University alumni from across the country and their families will converge on the University’s Parkville Campus for Homecoming Weekend 2018, Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 13-15. While a number of activities during the weekend are reserved for Park alumni and their families, many events are open to the public.
