Vision Quest
Vision Quest Art Exhibit

Park University’s Campanella Gallery will open its 2022-23 season with a unique art exhibit by a retired academic physician and fine artist whose work focuses on glaucoma, a group of eye diseases that can cause vision loss and blindness by damaging the optic nerve. The exhibit, “Vision Quest: A Journey of Seeing,” will be on display Monday, Aug. 8, through Friday, Oct. 28.

Spring 2022 Graduates

Park University announces its Spring 2022 graduates. The list of graduates includes those from the University’s flagship campus in Parkville, Mo., as well as its 40 additional campuses across the country and online worldwide. The University had 963 students eligible to graduate — 214 students received a master’s degree specialist degree and/or graduate certificate, and 749 students received a bachelor’s degree, associate degree and/or undergraduate certificate.

New Trustees 2022

The governing body of Park University — its Board of Trustees — has elected three individuals to serve a three-year term on the board, effective July 1. Elected were: Terry Calaway, Ed.D., Scott Jackman and Timothy Pachasa.

Golf Scramble 2022

The 2022 Park University Golf Scramble, a four-person tournament that benefits the University’s Parkville Campus athletics programs, is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 17, at The National Golf Club of Kansas City.

Fate Exhibit

From today’s current events that foreshadow change tomorrow, Missouri artists Laurel DeFreece and Robin VanHoozer have collaborated to create “Fate,” an art exhibit that explores the random events that intertwine the common threads of tomorrow. The exhibit will be on display at Park University’s Campanella Gallery from Tuesday, June 7, through Friday, July 29.

Park ICM Student Selected for Van Cliburn International Piano Competition

Park University International Center for Music graduate student Ilya Shmukler is one of 30 competitors who have been selected to participate in the 16th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, which begins Thursday, June 2, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Park University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
