Tatiana Larionova

Tatiana Larionova began studying the piano at the age of five. In 1991, she entered the Central Music School in Moscow, where she studied under Professor Yuri Slesarev. After graduating in 1997, Tatiana attended the Moscow State Conservatory where she studied until 2004 under Professor Victor Merzhanov.

Tatiana Larionova is a prize winner in several international piano competitions, including: International F. Liszt Piano Competition (Poland, 1999); third prize, S.Thalberg International Piano Competition (Italy, 2004); second prize, “Premio Seiler” International Piano Competition (Italy, 2004).

Tatiana participated in the International Piano Festivals, including “Bodensee-Festival” (Germany) and the International European Piano Forum (Berlin, 2001). She has performed concerts in Russia, Byelorussia, Germany, Poland and Italy. In 2001, Tatiana performed Mozart Piano Concerto # 23 in the Bolshoi Hall of the Moscow Conservatory with the orchestra of the conservatory.

Gulrukh Shakirova

Uzbek pianist Gulrukh Shakirova graduated with honors from Uspensky Special Music School in Tashkent. She continued her education at The State Conservatory of Uzbekistan with Prof. Marina Sultanova, where she graduated with bachelors in piano performance with honors.

Gulrukh has received various awards including first prize, Republican Piano Competition, Uzbekistan (1999); third prize, 50th International Piano Competition “Nena Wideman”, USA (2000); second prize, 7th International Piano Competition by Nikolai Rubinstein, France (2004); the laureate of festival “Days of the international meeting of the young musicians”, Moscow (1994).

She was awarded the President State Scholarship in Uzbekistan in the field “Culture and art,” (2002). She also studied composition with Uzbek distinguished composer Ikram Akbarov. Gulrukh was awarded several prizes and diplomas in composition at the competitions for creative youth of Uzbekistan.

She played a solo recital on the Grand Piano Festival at Park University in Parlville, MO April 22, 2005. On this Festival she also played on the Master classes which were given by Dmitri Bashkirov.
