From your freshman year trying to choose a major to landing your first job out of college, the Career Development Center is here to coach you along the way! We offer workshops, employer engagement opportunities, and professional training such as business attire, etiquette and communication.

Services

  • Resumes & Cover Letters — learn how to showcase your skills, start from a simple list of your experiences and focus on what employers are looking for, access guides for resume and cover letter format
  • Career Exploration & Planning — take charge of your academic and career goals, explore career fields and majors, learn steps to career planning throughout all four academic years, get help via the self-paced Focus career planning tool, select and apply for graduate school
  • Job Search Help — use online resources for job searches, log in to Handshake to find jobs and internships, get advice for making the best impression on future employers, including interview tips, preparation, and mock interviews, learn the ins and outs of networking face-to-face and within the online world via social media
  • Recruiting Resources for Employers — employer visits help students get the inside scoop, employers can connect to Park students and alumni for your internships and full-time positions
