Credit, Non-Credits and CEUs

CREDIT COURSESstudent in class

Continuing Education credit courses are designed for non-traditional learners and provide alternate, non-traditional class times and meeting locations. These courses can focus on new cutting edge knowledge, technological resources, current issues and interdisciplinary perspectives. These credit courses can be designed and scheduled to meet the needs of the constituencies we serve. Credit may be earned for programs that meet the requirements of Park University academic departments.

  • School districts, organizations and businesses must complete a Memo of Agreement (MOA) with Park University
  • Park University and departmental approval process
  • Simple enrollment form (provided they meet the requirements)
  • Registration is completed in person, by mail or electronic submission
  • Students who plan to apply continuing education credit courses to a degree program require approval from the college, school or department

NON-CREDIT COURSES

Non-credit courses are defined as courses that do not carry college credit. They are designed to meet a wide range of individual and community interests for professional development and receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Theses programs and partnerships draw on the resources of Park University. Other non-credit courses can be designed and scheduled to meet the needs of the constituencies we serve. Ed2Go

Park University is excited to announce that we have partnered with ed2go to provide hundreds of high-quality non-credit continuing education courses. Each course is design to expand your knowledge and understanding of specific topics relevant for today’s workplace. Park University is proud to offer classes that are affordable, engaging and interactive.

EDUCATION CONFERENCES

Park University collaborates with educational conferences and accredited institutes to provide resources in support of the short-term educational requirements of public and private sectors of the community. Conferences are a reliable means of providing an efficient and effective learning platform for new information and problem analysis in education and business. Participating organizations can request to receive CEUs for selected conferences and institutes.

Registration for any continuing education program through Park University implies that you have read and understand the following policies.

Approvals/CE Credit

CE is applied for in many states. Not all states approve all conferences, workshops or seminars. For information regarding approvals, please contact the Continuing Education and Events department or your state board prior to registering.

Park University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
