Army’s COOL (Credentialing Opportunities On-Line)

The Army’s COOL (Credentialing Opportunities On-Line), also known as Credentialing Assistance (CA) helps soldiers find information on certifications and licenses related to their jobs.  The program can pay for courses and exams that lead to industry-recognized civilian credentials in an occupational area of your choice. Enhance your skills by using this program. The skills can be applied either  in your current MOS, or in an occupation you would like to pursue when you leave military service.

Army COOL provides a great opportunity to pay for credentials that can enhance skills and qualifications both during and after military service. The Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) Program pays for courses and exams that lead to industry-recognized civilian credentials in an occupational area of the military members choice. This program can be used to enhance your skills, either in a current MOS, or in an occupation to pursue after military service. You can request CA funding for any credential listed on Army COOL.

Army's COOL Courses

This course will prepare you for CompTIA A+ certification. You can earn this certification after you pass two exams. The CompTIA A+ Certification Exam 220-1001, covers mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing, and network troubleshooting. The CompTIA A+ Certification Exam 220-1002 covers installing and configuring operating systems, expanded security, software troubleshooting, and operational procedures.

CompTIA™ A+ Certification is vendor neutral and internationally recognized, giving you a competitive advantage no matter what country you’re working in and what hardware you’re working with.

This course offers enrollment with or without vouchers. The vouchers are prepaid access to sit for the certifying CompTIA™ certification exams (CompTIA 220-1001 and 220-1002) upon completion of the course and eligibility. This course offers enrollment with or without vouchers.
