Virtual Campus Visits

Your virtual Campus Visit includes your opportunity to meet online 1:1 with a Parkville Campus Admissions Counselor. In this virtual setting, your admissions counselor will be able to get to know you and your goals better, answer your questions about what it’s like to be a Park University student, help you complete your Application for Admission, and complete a guided virtual tour with you of our Parkville Flagship Campus.

Schedule a one hour tour of our historic flagship campus in Parkville, Missouri led by one of our Park University student ambassadors. You’ll also have the opportunity to sit down with an admissions counselor to discuss our application process and the programs we offer.

Campus visits are available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 10:15 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:15 PM and 2:15 PM.

Virtual Group Visits

Our Parkville Campus is excited to virtually connect with your high school students during our Virtual Group Visit experiences. Virtual Group Visits include the opportunity for your students to take a guided virtual tour of our historic campus in Parkville, MO, complete an online activity to help explore their top majors of interest, learn ways to afford their education and take advantage of our many services and student life experiences, and hear how to apply to Park University.

Attend one or more of our Student Services 101 virtual sessions hosted by our Park University Student Services staff. Learn about our tutoring options, services for military connected students, what it’s like living in our dorms, study abroad and more. We have several sessions available throughout October, so sign up for all of them that interest you.

Understanding the Basics of Financial Aid – Thursday, October 1 at 5:30 PM

How are you going to pay for school? We will cover the FAFSA and how to apply, scholarship deadlines and finding other options and resources to help with college tuition.

Academic Success at Park – Monday, October 5 at 4:30 PM

This session will focus on telling prospective students about our services through the eyes of our tutors, mentors and students who participate in our services.  It will also provide a brief overview of Disability Services and how to connect for additional questions.

Park Esports – Wednesday, October 7 at 7:00 PM

Are you interested in playing for the Park University Esports team? Maybe you are interested in volunteer opportunities for the team such as broadcasting/shoutcasting, content creating, team management, graphic design, etc. Either way, this is the session for you!

Military Connected Students and ROTC – Wednesday, October 14 at 3:30 PM

Learn about how the Warrior Center supports military-connected students and Park’s ROTC program! Ask questions about your VA educational benefits and get information on next steps.

Networking + Developing a Personal Brand – Wednesday, October 21 at 2:00 PM

Building a network you can lean on before you actually need it can be crucial to your job or internship search. We chat about ways you can connect with people without that awkward networking event you didn’t even want to attend!

Find Your Path with Student Success – Thursday, October 22 at 5:00 PM

In Student Success, our goal is just that: your success! This session will help you understand the role of your Student Success Coach in your educational journey. We’ll also share ways to empower yourself in that journey and discuss all things advising.

Study Abroad – Friday, October 23 at 4:00 PM

In this session, students can learn how a study experience in another country could fit into their Park University degree plans.  Students will learn about study abroad opportunities that last anywhere from two weeks to whole year, as well as how to plan for them.

Nursing – Tuesday, November 3 at 5:30 PM CST

Please join the Nursing Department Chair in a tour of the nursing department, a visit from a Park nursing graduate, and a Q and A about all nursing has to offer at Park University!

So you might be interested in a Computer-Related major? – Saturday, November 7 at 10 AM CST

We’ll start with students introducing themselves. Next up will be a 10-15 minute slide show. Then we’ll open things up for questions.

Love literature, writing, and/or languages? Find out about the programs available in English and Modern Languages! – Saturday, November 7 at 11 AM CST

In this session, you’ll meet several dedicated faculty and engaged students from both the English program (English major and minor, Professional & Technical Writing minor) and the Modern Languages program (Spanish major and minor). We’ll talk about what our programs have to offer as well as related extracurricular opportunities, and leave plenty of time for questions or individual consultations.

In this session you will learn about the topics you will learn in your Criminal Justice classes and the different career opportunities available in the filed of Criminal Justice.

Understanding the Past within Our Current Times: History, Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies – Monday, November 30 at 3 PM CST

Full-time faculty in the Department of History, Political Science, and Interdisciplinary Studies will host an one-hour virtual meet-and-greet for prospective students.  Faculty will introduce their respective programs and address questions related to those programs and Park University.

This is your chance to get everything done before classes start. These events will be held virtually over Zoom until further notice.
