Glenn Lester holds an M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and a B.A. in English from Hope College. He has taught at Park University since 2011, becoming a full-time faculty member in 2013. In addition to teaching English classes, Glenn currently serves as program coordinator for first year writing courses and advisor to The Scribe. As a fiction writer and essayist, he has published work in Revolver, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. His professional and research interests include composition and creative writing pedagogies, writing program administration, writing assessment, disciplinary writing in nursing, and contemporary American fiction and nonfiction. He also enjoys running, cooking, and playing music. Glenn lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with his wife and a great dog named Gus.
