It is with anticipation and excitement that I write this note as interim president at Park University beginning today. As I begin my fifth year at Park, I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the University and its constituents. I want to thank President Dave Fowler for his selfless service to Park and the community. His hard work and diligence as he moved many key initiatives forward is appreciated. I wish him all the best in retirement and I am positive he will remain a friend and supporter of Park University.

Park University has retained EFL Associates Inc., an executive search firm based in Leawood, Kan., to conduct the search for both the University’s next president and the vice president for enrollment and student services.
Park’s next president must be a strategic thinker who not only has clear goals and objectives in mind, but also knows how to create a culture of productivity and accountability that drive results in a complex environment. He or she must have both financial/organizational acumen and a long-term vision for academic excellence. Reporting directly to the President, the vice president for enrollment and student services will serve as a role model for Park’s core values and high performance culture. As a member of the University’s executive leadership team, the VPESS will be responsible for directing recruitment efforts, working closely with colleagues on overarching University policies and procedures, and representing Park nationally and internationally, focusing on enrollment and retention initiatives to propel Park’s growth and sustainability.
