Welcome to the Park Parent Website!We are developing this informational site for Parents of current and prospective students of Park University. We hope you’ll find it useful, and we want you to let us know if there’s other specific information you’d like to see. Some of the material will be unique for parents, and other information will simply provide a convenient way for you to access answers to your questions by linking to other sections of the Park website. We plan to have different information available every month, so please visit regularly to check it out! We’re also developing a Parent Newsletter that will be sent by e-mail every 2 months, so please sign-up for our newsletter mailing list. We’re also developing a Parent Advisory and Resource Committee – PARC! This group may “meet” by e-mail, phone conference, in person, or a combination. So – whether you live in the Kansas City area or across the world, you could still be involved. Please note the questions on the sign-up sheet asking what type of meeting you’d prefer, and whether you’d like to “meet” monthly, once a quarter, or once a semester. If you’d like to help generate ideas for upcoming events or newsletter items, provide insights into the needs of Park University students and parents, or assist in developing our new parent programs – we hope you’ll sign up! Our first Parent Program of the spring will be posted soon. For the parents of incoming students, please note Thursday, August 14 as the Parent Orientation for Fall, 2008 students.
