The liberal studies major allows the student a major composed of various disciplines rather than one discipline only. It therefore emphasizes breadth, while requiring a concentration of 15 credits in a single discipline. It is intended that, by broadening the student’s cultural perspective, heightening the student’s analytical powers, and providing models for understanding experience, the liberal studies major will make a valuable contribution to whatever vocation the students elects. Concentrations include History, Philosophy, Religion, Communication Arts, Art, Music, Theatre, Peace Studies, Psychology, Political Science and Sociology.
Career Opportunities are vast and depend on the chosen areas of study
